The yellow Master Dry desiccant bags are particularly well-suited for storage in large rooms. They prevent excess humidity from condensing in storage areas. This protects stored goods and items, such as machinery, metals, furniture, textiles, and filing cabinets, from moisture damage, such as corrosion, mold, softened cardboard, or peeling labels. Furthermore, the composition of the desiccant bag has a climate-balancing effect and can release previously absorbed moisture back into the air if the environment becomes very dry.

Master Dry impresses with its uncomplicated handling. The required quantity of desiccant bags is distributed as evenly as possible throughout the storage area to be protected. When using any Master Dry products, users can rely on the highest quality – Made in Germany.

The desiccant used in Master Dry bags consists of natural calcined clay and the salt calcium chloride. Calcium chloride is a desiccant that absorbs moisture from the air in the warehouse and transfers it to the clay. The clay thus serves as a reservoir for the moisture. Even when saturated, the desiccant maintains its granular structure. The Master Dry desiccant bag can absorb up to 60% of its own weight in moisture.

A comparison by the independent BFSV institute in Hamburg has confirmed the effectiveness and performance of Master Dry desiccant bags compared to a DIN-standard desiccant for large-volume shipments and storage. The water absorption rate of both desiccants was tested over a specific period under identical climatic conditions. It became clear that Master Dry desiccant bags have a higher water absorption capacity than conventional desiccants, such as silica gel and bentonite.
