Uitdaging: lekkage van afdruipsystemen en toenemend corrosierisico<\/h2>\n\n

Een rederij, gespecialiseerd in goederentransport met binnenschepen, had zich al beziggehouden met het minimaliseren van risico’s op vochtschade. De verantwoordelijken kozen aanvankelijk voor het gebruik van droogmiddel in de vorm van een afdruipsysteem. Zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, ontstaat hierbij vloeistof tijdens de ontvochtiging. Deze vloeistof in de vorm van pekel lekte tijdens een transport van onze klant uit en zorgde op de metalen coils voor optimale omstandigheden voor de vorming van roest. <\/p>\n\n

De grootste bedreiging tijdens het soms wekenlang durende transport van de zogenaamde coils (bandstaal- en staaldraadrollen) is de vorming van roest.
