De filters bevatten kiezelgel<\/a>. Door zijn vermogen om overtollig vocht uit de omgevingslucht te adsorberen, wordt enerzijds de luchtkolom boven de opgeslagen substantie ontvochtigend. Anderzijds droogt het kiezelgel de buitenlucht die bij het legen van de container naar binnen stroomt. <\/p>\n

Om hygroscopische substanties tijdens de opslag in of bij het onttrekken uit IBC’s (Intermediate Bulk Containers), vaten of tanks te beschermen tegen te veel schadelijke luchtvochtigheid, worden
