    Details and application

Multi Dry was specially developed for home and leisure use. The mineral storage granules absorb up to 600 ml of moisture, have a climate-balancing effect, and are drip-proof. By regenerating it in the oven or on a radiator, Multi Dry can be used again and again.

Insulation problems often occur in both old and new buildings. Either the insulation is too good or too poor. If the insulation is too good, humidity cannot escape; if it is insufficient, the penetrating cold causes moisture to settle on surfaces. Indoor temperature fluctuations, e.g. caused by sunlight, can also lead to damp spots, such as on walls. Multi Dry prevents this by reducing the relative humidity.

Depending on the weather, shoes can be damp from the outside, but also from the inside when stored in a shoe cabinet. It is similar with laundry, which often has residual moisture when hung or placed in a wardrobe. The result is the loss of the fresh scent expected from washed laundry. Instead, the laundry smells unpleasantly musty.

Ideal for cabinets and enclosed areas

Multi Dry is particularly effective in closed systems such as cabinets. There, excess humidity can be bound immediately. In addition to wardrobes and shoe cabinets, Multi Dry also guarantees dryness in gun safes.

Effective protection against moisture is part of proper “winter storage.” Not only motorcycles, but also bicycles, garden furniture, tools, and electrical devices should be protected. If the environment is damp, it is advisable to pack the items and include Multi Dry. Multi Dry is ideal for storing items of all kinds.

Protection for boats, caravans, and motorhomes

Although boats and yachts are well protected against wetness from the outside, they are hardly protected on the inside. However, valuable items that should be protected are located in the interior. Textiles, metals, and especially electronics are very sensitive to moisture and react with corrosion, mold, mildew stains, and a musty odor. Damage occurs during winter storage in damp weather.

Multi Dry is ideal for protecting caravans and motorhomes against moisture. Otherwise, problems often occur during winter storage. In the interior, mold, rust, and mildew stains are prevented, as is a musty smell. This allows the next camping season to start with total freshness. Unlike conventional salt drip systems, there is no danger of a salt water solution tipping over and destroying the carpet or textiles. Multi Dry is safe to use and particularly recommended when children and pets are around.

Suitable for garden sheds, weekend cottages, and hobby rooms

In weekend cottages and garden sheds, moisture precipitation occurs due to irregular heating and ventilation. High humidity settles not only on the walls but also on valuable objects. The first signs can be perceived through the typical musty smell. By using Multi Dry, moisture is removed from the air so that it cannot condense. Valuable items (electrical devices) in particular can be effectively protected this way. After all, these devices also had a desiccant in their packaging when purchased.

Storage rooms and cellars are often converted into hobby rooms. These rooms are only heated when necessary, if at all. Irregular heating or the lack of heating leads to temperature differences. This causes condensation, which in turn causes moisture damage. Whether a model railway, dollhouse, or simple toys are being used or just stored is secondary. In any case, Multi Dry is the right solution here too to prevent damage. After all, games, fun, and hobbies should remain part of daily life in the long term.

Also suitable for tack rooms, laundry rooms, and pantries

Multi Dry is also used in equestrian sports. The moisture that a saddle absorbs during riding often cannot dry out before the next ride. This can be caused by high humidity in the tack room or drying breaks that are too short. In some cases, small saddle lockers are used in which there is insufficient air exchange. Multi Dry absorbs moisture from the surrounding air and lowers the humidity. The saddle can now dry faster because its moisture is better absorbed by the air.

Laundry rooms where laundry is also dried are places with extremely high humidity. With a constant supply of wet laundry, the air is almost saturated. The water that Multi Dry removes from the air is immediately “replenished” by new wet laundry. Therefore, only use Multi Dry for short-term wetness.

In drying rooms where wet laundry only causes high humidity for a short time, Multi Dry can absorb “moisture peaks.” Here, Multi Dry should be placed directly in front of the problem area (e.g. damp wall). Moisture-sensitive goods are stored in pantries and cellars. Dry storage is particularly necessary for food to prevent premature spoilage. After all, mold and musty odors are not appetizing companions.

    Instructions for use

Multi Dry begins to absorb moisture from the air as soon as the protective film is removed. The moisture is drawn through the fleece bag into the granules inside. This means the bag may feel damp and can also release moisture to the outside if touched directly or if pressure is applied. Direct contact of the bag with materials prone to rust or moisture absorption (e.g. metal, leather, textiles, paper) should therefore be avoided.
