Desiccant sachets
Individually manufactured desiccant bags for inclusion in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging. The desiccants and wrapping materials used are suitable for use under the strictest requirements, and the performance and adsorption capacity of the sachets meet the highest standards. A wide range of standard weights is available; custom-made products are possible on request.
Desiccants
Silica gel
The classic desiccant for the pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Absorbs up to 40% of its own weight in moisture. Optionally available with a saturation indicator as Silica Gel Orange – making moisture absorption visible from the outside without weighing.
Molecular sieve
An adsorbent that works quickly and effectively even at very low relative humidity. Absorbed moisture is securely trapped and not released. Diagnostic reagents or medical devices thus remain as effective and safe as on the day they were manufactured.
Activated carbon + silica gel
A mixture for absorbing excess moisture and unwanted odors. Activated carbon is obtained from coconut shells. The ingredients are stable and non-toxic, making them suitable for moisture protection and deodorization of products such as fish oil capsules.
Weights
Standard weights
The standard weights for our MiniDryy® sachet products range from 0.25 to 14 grams. Sachet dimensions and filling are perfectly matched so that they do not take up too much space in the packaging. Procurement is based on demand.
Custom weights
If our standard weights do not suit your application, we can provide custom filling for you.
Wrapping materials
Tyvek®
This material consists of HDPE and is extremely tear-resistant and completely dust-proof. It is breathable yet water-repellent, allowing for rapid moisture absorption. It can be used in direct contact with medical products and food.
PE-coated non-woven
This wrapping material is dust-free and processed without adhesives or solvents. Suitable for direct product contact. Compared to Tyvek, this material is more cost-effective and thus an economical alternative when Tyvek is not mandatory.
Aihua paper
A semi-transparent paper that, when combined with Silica Gel Orange as an indicator, makes it easy to see the saturation level through the packaging.
Other wrapping materials
Other wrapping materials made of paper, film, or non-woven are available on request.

Sealing seams
Visible lap seal (FDA approved)
This type of sealing creates a partially transparent seam on the back of the sachet. This allows for visual inspection of the desiccant, for example, to check indicators for discoloration due to moisture absorption. The seams at the ends of the bag are extremely narrow, making these bags shorter than those manufactured with other sealing types.
This sealing seam is only possible with Tyvek wrapping material.
Fin seal
The fin seal is the standard sealing method, as manufacturing machines are usually equipped for it. The seams of these bags are very stable.
All wrapping materials except uncoated Tyvek are processed with this sealing seam.
