CapDryy®
Desiccant Capsules
CapDryy® are desiccant capsules that can be embedded in the cap of bottle-shaped containers. The capsule is also suitable for direct inclusion with the product to be protected within the packaging itself. This makes CapDryy® an excellent alternative to conventional desiccant bags. Moisture is quickly adsorbed, and the product has a crack-resistant shell. This makes it the perfect desiccant for all pharmaceutical and OTC products or diagnostic reagents that need to be protected from the effects of moisture.
Properties
CapDryy® desiccant capsules have a high-strength PP plastic shell that withstands mechanical stress very well. They are standardly filled with Silica Gel (indicator optional, color change orange to white). They comply with the requirements of USP41-NF36 < 670 >. Due to the special membrane in the upper part of the capsule, uniform moisture absorption is ensured.
Granulate
Silica Gel is the classic desiccant for the pharmaceutical and food processing industry. It absorbs up to 40% of its own weight in moisture. Optionally available with a saturation indicator as Silica Gel Orange – making moisture absorption visible from the outside without weighing.
Molecular sieve capsules are also available upon request.
