Leak-proof moisture protection for unpackaged goods

The in-box desiccant BoxDryy® combines high absorption performance with easy handling and sustainable packaging solutions. The desiccant bag is placed directly into cartons, crates, or other shipping packaging – without any additional sleeve or film packaging for the goods being protected. This saves not only material but also labor time in the packaging process.

Inside the BoxDryy® bags, a particularly powerful magnesium chloride active granulate ensures that the moisture absorption capacity is significantly higher than that of standard desiccants. The absorbed moisture is bound into a solid, leak-proof mass by the salt-starch mixture inside the desiccant bag. The top of the bag is equipped with a water-vapor-permeable Tyvek® membrane, while the back forms a moisture-impermeable barrier layer.

Suitable bag sizes for different packing volumes

BoxDryy® is available in five different bag sizes from 5 g to 100 g. This in-box desiccant allows for use in larger packaging units or in cases of high ambient humidity and long-term storage. This allows moisture protection to be flexibly adapted to individual logistical requirements and packing volumes – from small shipments to large-volume export packaging. Application areas include a variety of sensitive products – including electronic devices, pharmaceutical products, metallic components, textiles, and leather goods.

Also suitable for food-related packaging solutions

The desiccant can be used not only in industrial sectors; the use of BoxDryy® is also safe for indirect contact with food. Therefore, the in-box desiccant is equally suitable for food-related packaging solutions to protect such products from moisture damage.

After use, the bag can be disposed of via commercial waste or, in the private sector, via residual waste.
