Humidity Indicator Card 30-50%

The humidity indicator card is used to monitor relative humidity in the range of 30 – 50% within sealed packaging and barrier layers. As an instrument for quality control and assurance, the humidity indicator card provides information on whether critical moisture values have been exceeded, so that timely measures such as the replacement of desiccants can be taken. The indicator paper is coated with a chemical compound that reacts to moisture. As humidity increases, the paper changes color gradually from blue through violet to pink. The color change is reversible, so the card can be used multiple times for moisture monitoring. The indicator automatically returns to blue under sufficiently dry conditions. Application is straightforward by placing it in a sealed barrier layer of the product packaging.
