Bulk silica gel is a versatile desiccant for protection against moisture in technical and industrial applications. The material consists of narrow-pored, spherical silica gel (silicon dioxide) with a large internal surface area and absorbs up to 30–40% of its own weight in moisture – ideal for adsorption of water vapor and humidity from gases and ambient air.
Typical areas of application include industrial drying systems, compressed air systems, laboratories or pressure equalization containers. Handling is flexible, e.g. in fillings, containers or packed bed systems – depending on the on-site application.
With delivery in larger packaging units, the product is optimally designed for commercial drying processes with recurring regeneration cycles.
Delivery is made from ThoMar’s own warehouse in Germany. All processes for production, testing and logistics are subject to a certified quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 – for consistently high product quality and reliable traceability in sensitive supply chains.
