The Data Logger 10TH is used in enclosed spaces. Here, it monitors and documents the development of temperature and relative humidity. A major area of application is container transport by ship, rail, and truck, as well as (intermediate) storage in freight containers.
Whether it’s automotive, mechanical engineering, or the steel industry, food, chemicals, or paper – all industries that transport their goods by container or store them therein can benefit from using a data logger. The evaluation of the logger data after each logistics project offers the opportunity to check and confirm the effectiveness of desiccant use, and to adjust quantities for the next project if necessary.
In addition, data loggers are used in packaging (so-called inbox solutions), especially for sensitive goods. These include electronic articles, textiles, or leather. Before the monitoring period begins, the goods are hermetically sealed in a PE/PA film together with a suitable desiccant and a logger, and then securely packed for transport using cardboard packaging. In this type of application, too, the subsequent evaluation provides information on how well the goods were protected from moisture damage during storage or transport.
The Data Logger 10TH is an instrument for quality control and assurance. Test the effectiveness of our desiccants in your logistics project, or first test the logger and then specifically select the appropriate desiccant quantity based on the target values suitable for your goods (e.g., max. 40% rel. humidity). We would be happy to advise you.
Disposal instructions: Do not dispose of the device in household waste! At the end of its service life, dispose of the device at a separate collection point for electrical and electronic waste (observe local regulations) or return it to ThoMar OHG (WEEE Reg. No. DE 56844638) for disposal.
