With a high moisture absorption capacity of ≥ 250% under real conditions over more than 60 days and ≥ 300% under extreme conditions, the SeaDry Hook ensures reliable reduction of humidity and effectively protects container loads from mold, corrosion, and damaged packaging. This vertical SeaDry container desiccant variant is attached with a sturdy hook to the lashing rings and, through vertical placement in the container corrugations, absorbs humidity exactly where the risk of condensation is highest. An adhesive device on the back ensures fixation of the desiccant chain in the container corrugations.
Without cardboard outer packaging, the SeaDry Hook offers the possibility to check the saturation state during use by simply feeling the bags. This allows early detection of whether a desiccant replacement will be necessary after several months during long-term storage of goods. Additionally, this SeaDry variant without cardboard reduces waste and is therefore particularly environmentally friendly.
Under NCAGE code CM866, corresponding supply items of the SeaDry Hook are registered:
SeaDry Hook 1,200 g, with hook, hangs vertically, adhesive
