Temperature differences and residual moisture caused moisture to collect inside the container. The cleaning cloth developed an unpleasant odor, the paper instructions became damp and wavy—making the overall impression of the kit seem inferior and not in line with the manufacturer’s high quality standards.
To reliably solve the problem, a Desi Dry silica gel packets was placed directly into the plastic container during the production process. The desiccant binds the excess moisture from the trapped air before it can condense.
Since the introduction of ThoMar silica gel packets, the inside of the packaging has remained dry and all product components retain their usual quality. Smell, feel and appearance once again fully meet end-customer expectations. This example shows how even a small intervention in the manufacturing process—the targeted use of a desiccant—can make a noticeable difference.
