Condensation during transport or due to climatic fluctuations can impair the filter materials and fit of the masks. However, the previous airtight packaging lacked a targeted solution to prevent moisture damage, which could have led to a possible impairment of mask quality.
The solution is the Desi Dry silica gel desiccant, which is integrated directly into the packaging. The silica gel beads inside can adsorb around one third of their own weight in moisture thanks to their large internal surface area.
The formation of condensation, deformation and changes in fabric quality, mould growth and unwanted odours are prevented. In addition, the dust-proof outer material of Desi Dry bags ensures reliable, clean use without abrasion or dust entering the packaging. This solution ensures that the masks remain in the airtight inner packaging under optimal climatic conditions, reliably preserving mask quality during transport and storage.
